@Beastwolf: Actually it's mostly Earth and artificial space habitats; unless if you meant late-Universal Century (Crossbones and Victory Gundam), or Port Disaster (Iron-Blooded Orphans).
I'd argue that the Gundam universe would be the best set up to fight the vek.
After all, they have more than one planet and hordes of giant robots at the ready.
