I feel bad for the people who genuinely liked Artifact, but I'm glad it's failing. Valve doesn't deserve the success they were looking for. I doubt this will make them humble because they still make a shit ton of money, but to see such a display of arrogance crumble is really satisfying.
I still love playing the game from time to time.
It simply has the best game mechanics among CCGs/TCGs for my taste, including MTG:A.
Saying that you have no control over it because minions and heroes use semi-random attack directions is pretty rubbish tbh.
I don't think it's really dead...
I mean, it's clearly dying, but its 3k or so players are really committed to the game, and valve spent a lot on it to just let it sink
We may still see some struggling pain and suffering before its final demise...
"It lacks brain dead aggro decks, or super gimmick control deck, they are this snowbally mid-range deck where you don't really have full control of the board." and it's a bad thing?
