I have my reasons for everything but am willing to acknowledge regardless of the outcome of some of the things I do some of my reasons could be considered questionable despite my general views. That said I never blatantly or even accidentally caused harm on that level.
Seeing how this is Blizzard, though, chances are it's gonna be as surprising as who burned Teldrassil was - she'll go full Garrosh 2.0 with even LESS sensible reasons for it, and her moustache-twirling will intensify and physically force one to appear on her face so she can do it literally.
Or, if the whole "Sylvanas cons us into going to Shadowlands to help Helya and other Death characters fight the Void for real down there" thing is true, she's pulling an Eldar and being stupidly obtuse and mysterious about her plans, to the point where it severely hinders said plan's chances.
I have a feeling Sylvanas is now trying to pull more or less what the Lich King wanted to do - unite the planet in undeath to fight the common foe(her being in charge of everything would definitely not hurt her either). /1
Apologies for the long comment but I felt it necessary to convey the point that the playerbase doesn't have to like Blizzard's ideas BUT I wouldn't have been the slightest bit surprised if the level of opposition just made the situation worse over the course of the expansion.
...is a bigger concern to me than how Blizzard actually intended her to be concluded (whatever that may be). It's disheartening to me to be confident that the players may just have been forcing Blizzard's hand with adverse reaction after adverse reaction, resulting in more missteps of handling her.
...conducive to a good character arc being completed as we should ALL know by now that Blizzard always react to things in a completely knee-jerk reaction. I only want to have her character FULLY judged when they actually conclude her story. Influencing Blizzard's plans of how she is finished.../5
...Blizzard weren't so completely desperate for making an edgy story and needed to use a long-standing character as a pawn to drive a DIFFERENT character's story (N'zoth). As much as they mishandled Sylvannas, I am still curious as to what they still have in store for her. Bashing her is not.../4
...they're worthless. If I had played this expansion (my computer being the literal last year of its kind before the graphics card change to what is actually supported now and it's integrated so I couldn't change it out) I would totally have sided with Sylvannas strictly under the hope that.../3
...aren't with Blizzard anymore and haven't been for years. She could really have been a fantastic anti-hero but they made her so, so, SOOOOOOO sick of more or less living among (in her twisted perspective) savages with no elegance or real order that basically needs to be babysitted or else.../2
Look, I can see WHY people would consider Sylvannas "hot" but since I know she's a banshee possessing her old elven corpse that then makes it so it holds ZERO appeal for me as far as that is concerned. I just think Blizzard didn't know what to do with her since so many people who worked on WoW.../1
Yeah, even thoroughly evil arsedungs are more likely to be given a pass if they look pretty. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DracoInLeatherPants
