@Dave Warren This was a small business, so it's common to see one guy have majority control. Problem with what the employees did was, as some people rightly noted, they foolishly thought a buyout would work on an owner. It was a pretty passive aggressive stance, but they prolly didn't know better.

And continue... but it didn't work. It was expensive and customers (we) were not pleased with the result (loss sales). EA now externalize (remote) a big part its job, it paid fewer for artists and it could exploit it at whim, mainly Chinese and Indians.

"corporate misconduct" in a nutshell: There is a law but some "council of good behavior" create new laws such as what to say it, to where/when to say it, and how to say it.

People learn nothing from EA. EA had the same problem and EA decided to managed it, adding people that fit that "ideology"

It does sound like Autumn Games will be countinuing Skullgirls without Lab Zero or Mike Z, and possibly have many of the employees that left back for it too. Thats good news.

I know Alex left Lab Zero awhile ago but i wonder if they could get him back too.

Soooo... the thing is that Lab Zero doesn't actually own the Skullgirls IP, as I understand it. Indivisable is sunk, sure, but Autumn Games is the ones who own Skullgirls now, after Lab Zero went bankrupt a while back. They don't... actually NEED Mike Z anymore... Autumn can just hire everyone back.

@Boomfly Firing your boss isn't a thing, but this sort of situation is exactly why you never give one person full shareholder control. And/Or you get a Board of Directors who can hold them accountable and remove them if need be. One person in 100% control of everything is a roadmap for abuse.

What is this Excel Saga with the main character dying at the start of the strip?

they made even a Putin Isekai, look for "the Ride-on King"

Not defending MikeZ, but I love how they tried to kick the guy from his own company and got surprised when he said "no". You can't fire your boss, that's not a thing.

Truck-kun strikes again. What a scamp

Well, obviously the truck runs into the buttered bread and inconceivably flips sideways avoiding Victoria.

Or Victoria slides under the truck. Victoria can not be beaten.

@Vitor_Cruz that would have been a genial punchline. I can imagine the meltdown in the comment section until it shows that the truck was the one sent to another world in the next comic.

Could always go the route of Zombie Land Saga instead and form an idol group 10 years in the future.

If it were Alek, the truck would have stopped in another world like all good isekai

She goes and sees a God, is given a choice, and reincarnated into another world. Did I miss anything?
