Crate Entertainment has a few old-school ex-Blizz employees, namely Eric "Hyboreal" Sexton. Their Grim Dawn is actually a VERY solid game. Funny that nobody mentioned it here.
@HolyDanna Thanks! Oh, I like Torchlight and Guild Wars, but yeah, they didnt get all that attention from the gaming community (Guild Wars only for a short while), so yeah, they turned out average, saddly.

What made old Blizzard work wasn't just its people, but the company culture as well, and to create the culture you need both the employees and management.
If Dreamhaven makes a RTS game they should do well. If they make a MMO ... the market is saturated with F2P gatcha games. If they can't make an amazing MMO the company won't be considered a success. Or they could truly surprise and not copy a past success.
What kind of bizaro alternate world is this where everyone is wearing someone else's casual clothing? Also really want to see Alek wearing Angie's shorts...
I remember when a group of ex-WoW developers branched off to work on Wildstar, claiming that people wanted to recapture the difficult days of Classic WoW. Then their game died because nobody liked getting beaten up every step of the way. Yeah, not a great track record.
