If was not for the International I would be totally lost when trying to follow Dota.

Even if you compared Dota 2 v1.0 the current crop of Dota is kind of different. Surely, you still hit creeps for money and you still need to kill the Ancient but you may be surprised to find a hero who used to be a support is now a carry and Roshan is on the other side of the map.
