I know very well corporations' gifts are just ways to generate engagement and fill metrics, but they could at least fake it better.

Giving the player an old skin or just some credits is not going to bankrupt Blizzard but they act like Scrounge McDuck and it just makes them look bad. May as well give nothing.

If I could give the "gift" back to their faces I would just make a point. It's the season of giving after all.
