You know, it's not the woodcutting minigame that bothers me in Skulls and Bones, but the idea pirates would go out of their way to cut wood and carry it back to their ships.

Can you imagine how cumbersome it would be? Go on a boat, row to the island, cut trees, carry logs, row back to the ship, and somehow put it back into the ship without a harbor. All this work for raw wood you can't even use for anything but firewood because your ship isn't a workshop.

The minigame is definitely the lesser issue here.
