The armor on the "hero" dude is classic Unreal Tournament. The color scheme of the HuD is HL2-inspired. The dictator is obviously South American (silly hat and massive stache) but mysteriously white. The rocket pack is closest to the ones in Serious Sam, but is intended to be generic. Anything else?

Good thing for this boss is that this is not a classic Metroid game, since picking new ammo automatically enables the new weapon.
