- Online means easier to setup matches.
- Managing your deck is easy
- Cheaper.
- AI is passable
- No lenghty discussion about how this or that card works.
- Did I said cheaper?

Cons

- Little deck flexibility
- Game flow slow
- You will miss the social aspect of the game

Playing live is the perfect, costly situation, but playing 2012 is accessible and avaliable, while going out to play Magic is something which just doesn't happen a lot.
