I actually read a few of the comics. It wasnt bad, but if you didnt play the game you'd be pretty lost with whats going on. So it had a pretty limited audience.

They said it's also partially the fact that Bliz have a very tight control over the content, which kinda make things weird. I guess that oughta contribute some to the demise of the magazine.

I agree with you, when Riot said there was an exclusive Caitlyn skin for League of Legends in PC Gamer I bought it in an instant.

So WoW magazine is dead... Well seeing that White Dwarf still keeps kicking we once again see that the Warhammer is superior to Warcraft :D

Now that I think about it, I believe the European Official Xbox Magazine has unique codes for downloadable gamerpics in them. I know some of the examples include TF2 and L4D gamerpics. Don't know of any more recent examples though.

I'm not sure which intrigues me more, the idea of the ring or the idea of doing whatever Sylvannas tells me to.
YES MISTRESS. YOUR EVERY DEMAND MISTRESS.

Brazil leads the world in swimsuit design technology, and I thank God that they've taken on this burden for the sake of humanity.
Aramaru

Actually.. you're exactly right. Why DIDN'T they give you codes for some ingame items? It was a quarterly release so they'd have months to come up with stuff to put into WoW itself. And since they'd be "promo" content it wouldn't even have to fit into the world, just be something cool or cute..

Everyone loves to think that print is dead (which it's really not, magazine subscriptions are actually at an all-time high right now) but the issue for the WoW magazine specifically was really lack of substance.

@Greenman: Yeah on the first thought. But the theme "necrophilia" was invented for fucking dead, liveless corpses, no undead people with a personality and a live in the meaning of walking around and acting.

Heh I stopped buying gaming magazines around the time I got my first internet cable. Mostly because, I realised that 90% of their "news" is copypasted from gaming sites and the images are googled. (though this may just be true for the ones in my country)
And don't even get me started on the scores.

And in general guys, don't complain too much about his English. I mean, how well do you speak Portuguese? ;-)

"Did you KNOW..."
"...they could HAVE made it."
"...how WOULD you have write it..."
Sometimes I think it's not your loose understanding of the English language but a rush to finish comics couple with a lack of proof-reading.

I used to have a subscription to Consumer Reports Kids or something like that, only for the magazine to become cancelled and getting the rest of my paid subscription sent in the form of National Geographic Kids. This was about 15 years ago mind you.
