Games at retail, often drop faster then stores like steam or orgins. Not counting 75% off the first week. Retail can sometimes be cheaper then steam prices, even when on sale. Orgins and steam to me, are just drm. Only steam may add useful benfits. Which are not useful to me.

Yep.Steam's always been there for me, and we have a nice, stable relationship that's lasted for now almost 4 years..
Origin may be new and hip and have ONE game that I might like, but she's incredibly jealous and will spy on you all the time.

Valve is an independant company, which makes them a better operator of a service like Steam. Ditto for Good Old Games; they don't have some corporate overlord dictating policy. They've got their customers and themselves and that's it. Thus, these two will ALWAYS be better until that changes.

It's a little sad to see the name Origin used for this. Origin in gaming used to mean legendary titles such as Wing Commander and Ultima.

For those that say Origin will improve, well technical wise they will probably clean up but EA has never been awesome to customers, ever. Ignoring all the destroying of old companies they love DRM and control. They wont try to entice you either, they'll make you with exclusives or restrictions.

Steam is older, experienced, stable and more reliable. Not to mention a huge library of games. And a juicy sale every year.

It's not just the library that sucks on Origin, it's the interface itself. They can't blame poor design on being new, since they have such a good template to rip off.

I'm only going to say this because I spoke with other Steamers about this. Origin is going to suck for the first few years. This is because Steam has been out for YEARS now, and they have a vast library for that one reason alone. EA shouldn't have taken so long for this. Copy Cats.

And here's why I love Steam-tan. She got a big... Library of games that goes on sale. And when Steam have a sale, some games are ridiculously cheap! Heck, I got Ghost Master for 1.24$!
