I've never played Grim Fandango past the first few scenes from the demo. I guess my backlog is quite huge already.

You're going to play Grim Fandango! Awesome!
Seriously, there's a reason it was voted Game of the Millennium. Even if you only count from 1970, calling it the best game of 30 years is quite something.

P-P-Plansecape torment??
You HAVE to play Planescape torment.
Okay, its not the best game in the world, by far, but its the most unique story, storytelling and adventure I have ever seen in a video game, there's so much to be said about this game!

man, loved grim fandango. What happened to Mercedes
This remembers me of the time I exchanged my "not so original" copy of Monkey Island 3 for a "complete and indeed original" copy of Grim Fandango.
Think I deserve a Top hat ;)

Arghablargh. Now I'm reminded that I lost my Torment save halfway into the game and never got to actually ending it. I should probably restart, but redoing everything (and in a game like Torment, you feel you have to do EVERYTHING) is daunting...

Grandia is a great series to get back to. They feature stories of adventure rather than angst, and the battle system makes the non-random battles much more fun than the usual line dance.

have to add to the know that feeling as well.
SR3, Skyrim, Dark Souls, Deus Ex HR just to name a few out of my 20 odd list of new games i have to finish let alone all the things i have on steam that were a good idea or out cheap enough

Backlog? who needs backlog when you can
"Stop buying games and watch them all be played by someone else on the internet" it's like paying someone else to do the boring work for you*.
*warning the experience of the game may very on the person playing it.
Best do this with linear/story games.

This part of the year is always a tough time for a gamer. So many big-name titles coming out, and never enough time to finish them all. The problem for me is Skyrim came out this year... So big. Game so big. So good... Game so good..

I got as far as the second disc with Grim Fandango before I got a bit stuck. I meant to get back to it sometime, as it was thoroughly entertaining. Same thing happened with Final Fantasy 7 actually.
Sonic Generations is super fun! when you play classic sonic, modern sonic im kinda mixed on.. at points its fast and amazing, such as the city escape mix, thats quite fun, but crisis city just felt like a chore.

Thanks to steam, I have a backlog of nearly 200 games, possibly close to 300 - 500 if you include older NES, SNES, N64, GC, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, Xbox, GBA games, as well as the newer stuff like DS, 3DS, and PS3 that I still haven't gotten yet, but am planning to once prices become more reasonable.
