The saddest story of my tf2 career involves me spending $20 on keys, unboxing an unusual, trading it for another unusual, and eventually trading that unusual plus a bit more for some earbuds, which I then traded for a promise of money by someone who lived on my street. He then /moved away./

Isaac I beg to differ, I am a man and I like my shoes; I had so many that a few years back my now ex-fiancée went through them complaining that *I* had too many shoes, despite the fact she got a job at a shoe store to get a discount for herself (I used it too).

so a woman wastes thousands of dollars on shoes she will never wear and can't afford without financial aid, that's ok
a guy spends a small portion of his disposable income on one thing, in an extremely rare occasion, after he has worked for it. IRONY?

Unusuals look stupid anyway. Who really wants to wear a hat that looks like it's vomiting all over you constantly?

Shoes are useful. Hats are not.

Actually theres a huge difference... id you buy them and you know youre just collecting them or if you are a woman and buy shoes...
Women dont use most of those shoes either and they are not even aware that they are just collecting them...

People will pay $100 on those rings.
PEOPLE WILL BUY ANYTHING.
On a lighter note, who else is hoping all the money we're funneling into Valve is going into HL3's development costs, and at the end of all things, will become the polar opposite of Duke Nukem Forever?

You're right I suppose when you start collecting things whether it is virtual hats, figurines or other paid extra like skins. Women's clothes make more sense though because they have a more general appeal while having a cool hat is only for yourself and a small anonymous group.
