SWTOR was going to be F2P except the news is now gone, adding more fuel to the firestorm.

Was it true? Was it a lie? Did someone say more than he should? Perhaps there was a misunderstanding?

However, I can't deny lots of people are already counting SWTOR out of the race, and F2P-land is the destiny of many games who dared enter the MMORPG stage. The news of SWTOR going F2P is almost expected at this point.

I guess many gamers just want to see the world burn.
