@Delta Echo: This is Medic. It's hypo-critical. :-)
Liro Raeriyo
everything i have stated assumes every possible condition is met in order for the quick fix to shine as the superior choice, sadly these are all very rare things to take place coincidentally, and are hard to intentionally create, the Quick Fix is very situational and in most cases its krits or uber
Liro Raeriyo
The last potential source is fixing a battalions back-up soldier when pushing, having a large damage reduction and preventing crits while denying knockback and outhealing nearly any singular source of damage (multiple sources is enough however) is effective as a team thing, however this is TF2
Liro Raeriyo
another thing to look at is its great capability of keeping an intelligence carrier alive, ubercharge would fail to work holding it but 300% healing does kick in, combine this with a scout and inability to be knocked around and its easier to get past a tight security area
Liro Raeriyo
the quick fix is much more contexttual to being useful then other medi-guns, something alot of people overlook is its ability to negate all knockback from all sources (pyro airblasts as well) so is a great choice against a very pyro focused team, however a heavy should never be quick fixed.

Quick-Fix isn't bad for the arena mode or 5 point capture. Having the fastest uber out can turn the tides quickly. That said, you risking it all on the no overheal and the worst of the 3 ubers. On any map with a set up time or fixed defense points, it loses out greatly.
sumone
@bodmans: The reason the quick fix is completely useless is that it turns the medic into a moving lvl 4 dispenser.
1) Overheal is a lot better than faster healing to keep the whole team alive (supposedly Quick Fix's advatange)
2) Amputator can do the same, and you still have invul. in uber.

QuickFix is just that, a quick fix. The advantage is that you can hitch a ride with scouts/jumping soldiers/jumping demos, so you can move fast and keep healing with it's increased heal rate. It's useful if you are in the last minutes and have no time to buff or build an uber.

Quick-fix loses two very important aspects of healing: overheal and a worthwhile uber.
Klitz will only be good if you can identify the best player in your team and he knows how to make good use of it. You also need to know how to stay alive while deploying those crits.
Default for most cases.

@Software2: The idea is an arc that's also self-contained, I think. Medigun is the obvious answer, with Kritzkrieg if you've got another competent medic or two with mediguns, and you have...well a decent team.

Combinecommando
Medigun and Kritz are both good choices, however kritz is more for the last minute, since it's when the other team makes a last ditch effort to cap the point. and quick-fix well if keeping people at full health is your top priority then go for it, but on a personal note, I wouldn't suggest it at all
Group Therapy
Actually, Quick-Fix is a fairly good choice for Dustbowl. Defenders are usually clumped together, meaning there's no shortage of injured people to take advantage of.
Heavy's being selfish. :P

Podunk

Quick Fix is great on defense. If you don't need to push, then you can use the quick-fix to keep your entire team full and keep blue from gaining any ground. It's an awful item on offense, because it doesn't help you push nearly as much as the other two mediguns.

Commander204
@7Soul: It generally is for a defense especially if there's only one medic. At least with KK you can deploy crits for eight seconds to scatter enemies and the stock you can block and/or harass while your team flanks.

@Barzyk: I don't know about Dustbowl, but in general the Quick Fix is only half-effective in large fights. Medigun gives you invincibility, Kritzkrieg gives you crits, but quick fix only heals you fast which is useless if there are 5+ attackers.
No idea what the comic means in particular though.
Idiot Moron
@Barzyk: If you're defending, you need uber to hold back the oncoming team. Kritz works too, considering the damage output you'll get with a good player. Quick-fix does nothing to defend the point, and you shouldn't have to heal so quickly on Dustbowl.
