I have a pretty funny story, there was this kid on dota 2 complaining how we had a russian on our team and how bad russians are, at the end of the game, the kid was 3 kil 6 dethh 8 assists as death prop and the russian was 4 0 29 as earthshaker. Moral of story: language dont matter, skillz matter.

Thought this filter would work.. First game with it, got two people speaking Russian even though only "English" was ticked.. Luckily I randomed Templar and facerolled.

TF2 isnt popular, 80% people enter the game just for afking to get hats. So why bother care about how many comic?

Yup, this was my first, 2nd, third, etc. experience with old DOTA, and it seems 2 is no different. They do have a feature to block people's chat right? Like "/block [name]"? If not then LoL has one up on DOTA then as far as dealing with assholes.

I have to say, if the DOTA2 community is mostly like this, I don't understand how any new players get into it... Being new means not being perfect, not knowing all the lingo, and making mistakes. If every veteran DOTA2 player acts like this, seems like it would chase new people away quickly.

Sadly most games are like that. In black ops 2, I'll call out where I see enemies moving to(obviously mainly when there is no UAV or they have ghost), but I get nothing back except smack talk, or a guy who throws a grenade at me instead of where I said the enemies were.
